AP picked up on a very official-looking press release this week, with the headline, "GE Responds to Public Outcry - Will Donate Entire $3.2 Billion Tax Refund to Offset Cuts and Save American Jobs."

The only trouble is the whole thing is a hoax created by activist group U.S. Uncutwith help from pranksters The Yes Men.
