What #ows HAS accomplished !

This blog article is pretty much on target. There's room for disagreement about issues of "leadership" and organization. But well worth a quick read. You may hear echoes of the corporate news coverage of Occupy actions in San Diego, or your own town, in the garbage the Oakland officials are spewing. It is no accident. The author is right to point out that the "1 percent" (and their loyal servants) are ORGANIZED. Ever wonder why the news reports all over the place sound so similar so soon after a new story breaks? Once the local and national editors see a copy of how the Associated Press (and a few other top level sources) treat the story, they play follow the leader -- and good luck reading much with any different perspective, unless you hunt for it on the internet or in alternative press (none of which has the big mass audience that the corporate press has).
